Bio

Originally from South Africa, Talitha Venter joins NWACC from Springdale. She was homeschooled but competed in cross country and track and field for the Springdale High School Bulldogs. She only competed in one season of cross country before joining NWACC and recorded a 5k best of 22:50.

Venter also competes on the NWACC Women's Cross Country team. In her freshman season, she helped the Eagles to a NJCAA Region 2 Championship and a program-record ninth place finish in the NJCAA National Championship.

Venter's brother Benjamin also competes for NWACC as a member of the Men's Cross Country and Men's Track and Field programs.

Spring 2026 - Track and Field

Venter logged entries in the 200- and 400-meter dash as well as the 800-meter run in her freshman track and field campaign with the Eagles. Her lone 800 effort was a 2:57.01 at the season-opening Hendrix College Open Feb. 28.

In the 200, Venter saved the best for last with a PR of 30.39; her best 400-meter time in six attempts was a 1:07.72 at the Arkansas Spring Invitational April 11.

Fall 2025 - Cross Country

In her freshman season in Fall 2025, Venter helped the Eagles win the NJCAA Region 2 Championship and place 9th in the NJCAA Division II National Championship.

She placed 14th at the NJCAA Region 2 Championships, running a 22:56.1.
