Cross Country Gears Up For Sixth Season
BENTONVILLE - NWACC cross country coaches Josphat Boit and Chris Weller announced the six meets which comprise the Men's and Women's Cross Country schedules for the 2026 season this week.
The season slate will once again include a pair of home meets at the NWACC Cross Country Course in Bentonville, starting with the NWACC Opener Sept. 4. The Eagles return to friendly confines Oct. 31, when the Bentonville campus hosts a third consecutive NJCAA Region 2 Championship. Both the men's and women's programs will compete for more regional titles on their home course in the lead-up to the NJCAA National Championships.
Filling in the regular season are Sept. 19 at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Joplin, Mo., Missouri Southern State University), Oct. 3 at the Chile Pepper Festival (Fayetteville, Ark., University of Arkansas) and Oct. 10 at the U of O Invitational (Clarksville, Ark., University of the Ozarks).
New for 2026, both NWACC home meets will be streamed live on the NWACC Athletics YouTube page and are free to watch.
