Bio

Benjamin Venter is a South African native raised in Springdale. He was homeschooled but represented the Springdale Bulldogs in high school athletics.

Venter posted a 2:04 time in the 800-meter run and a 16:56 5k at Springdale en route to being named Most Improved Athlete.

Venter is also a member of the NWACC Men's Cross Country team. In his freshman season in Fall 2025, Venter helped the Eagles win the NJCAA Region 2 Championship and place 19th in the NJCAA Division II National Championship. Venter scored in both contests, sporting a 31:31.5 time at nationals and a 29:28.1 time in the region tournament, good for 16th individually.

His sister Talitha is also a freshman at NWACC and competes in Women's Cross Country and Women's Track and Field for the Eagles.
