Bio
Kriz Perez is a sophomore distance runner from Springdale. A graduate of Don Tyson School of Innovation, Perez was part of a highly successful Class of 2024 in cross country at DTSOI. The Phoenix went to state all four years of Perez's time there.
Academically, Perez graduated from DTSOI with high honors and was named an NJCAA Academic All-American at NWACC in 2024.
2026
Perez competes in his final season of eligibility for the Eagles this spring.
2025
Perez competed three times in his freshman campaign after two top fives and a 61st-place finish at the NJCAA Division II National Championship in cross country in the fall.
His sole 5000-meter time was also his highest placement of the season, coming at the Hendrix Invitational in Conway, Ark. Perez finished 10th with a 16:49.75.
