Benjamin Venter is a South Africa native who moved to Springdale in high school. He was homeschooled but represented the Springdale Bulldogs in high school athletics.

Venter posted a 2:04 time in the 800-meter run and a 16:56 5K at Springdale en route to being named Most Improved Athlete.

2025

In his freshman season, Venter helped the Eagles win the NJCAA Region 2 Championship and place 19th in the NJCAA Division II National Championship. Venter scored in both contests, sporting a 31:31.5 time at nationals and a 29:28.1 time in the region tournament, good for 16th individually.
