Bio
A native of Springdale, Javier Bravo-Ramirez continues a strong pipeline of Don Tyson School of Innovation runners competing at the next level with NWACC.
Bravo-Ramirez ran cross country and track and field with the Phoenix; academically, he was given the Arkansas State Seal of Biliteracy, bestowed on students who demonstrate proficiency in English and at least one other language. Bravo-Ramirez is fluent in Spanish.
2025
Bravo's first NWACC finish was a 28:29.2, which stands as his personal record in college. It came Sept. 20 at the Southern Stampede Cross Country Meet in Joplin, Mo.
His performance at the NJCAA Region 2 Championship landed him 18th overall and helped NWACC win the region; the ensuing NJCAA Division II National Championship also saw Bravo score for NWACC en route to a 19th-place team finish.
