BENTONVILLE - The NWACC Women's Soccer program announces its NJCAA Region 2 schedule for its first-ever season in 2026.
Head coach Nick Marquez's team will begin region play in September after a non-region schedule which has not yet been released.
NJCAA Region 2 is made up of 10 programs in Oklahoma and Arkansas and is split into North and South regions. NWACC is one of five North teams and will play each division opponent twice, once at home and once away. The Eagles will also face each South school once in interdivisional play.
Divisional play kicks off and closes out the region schedule, while the crossover schedule takes place in between during late September and early October.
The first region contest in NWACC history is Sept. 2 at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. The one-time region champion (2013) Lady Norse welcome NWACC to Miami, Okla. for the midweek matchup.
Redlands Community College will become the first Region 2 team NWACC hosts when they come to Northwest Arkansas Sept. 9.
NWACC then travels to Midwest City, Okla. to face the Rose State College Raiders, the second-most recent program to win a Region 2 championship (2018). The Eagles face the Raiders Sept. 13.
Northern Oklahoma College-Enid crosses state lines for NWACC's second region home match, as the Eagles face the Jets Sept. 16.
A second straight home match begins the crossover portion of the schedule when Connors State College comes to town. The Eagles meet the Cowboys Sept. 20.
On Sept. 23, the Eagles hit the road again to face the Mountaineers of Eastern Oklahoma State College.
NWACC hosts the Murray State College Aggies Sept. 27 before traveling to seven-time defending region champion Seminole State. The Trojans reached the NJCAA National Semifinals in 2025, their second appearance in the final four nationally. They welcome the Eagles to Seminole, Okla. for the final game of the month Sept. 30.
The first in-state contest of the year and final interdivisional game takes place Oct. 4, when NWACC hosts UA-Rich Mountain.
The Eagles close out their region slate with return games against fellow North Division schools. NWACC hosts Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Oct. 7 and Rose State Oct. 18, also traveling to Redlands Oct. 14 and Northern Oklahoma Oct. 21.
The NJCAA Region 2 Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 29-Nov. 1. The region champion earns an automatic berth in the NJCAA National Championship Nov. 15-21. Locations for both tournaments are still to be announced.
Start times, home game venue and the remainder of the 2026 schedule will be announced at a later date. All updates and information will be available on NWACCEagles.com and @NWACCwsoc on Instagram.
