Esports Review - March 21
A crucial stretch late in the regular season saw various Eagles put themselves firmly in playoff position
WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
Fortnite completed its final regular-season contest and earned an NJCAAE National Playoff spot despite the 2-0 loss Monday. They spend three weeks off before the one-day playoffs April 13.
SSBU's NoSmo continued an unprecedented run of perfect 3-0 best-of-five series, bumping up his record to 10-0 on the year. Fellow SSBU player JR found a second wind last week and picked up a pair of wins, his first undefeated week this spring. TSO also went perfect to reach 9-1, sitting pretty for a high playoff seed in April.
After a string of four wins in five games midseason brought Reagan back into contention in Mario Kart, two losses Thursday left him out of playoff contention with only the series finale remaining next week.
In Tier 3, the regular season has wrapped up and postseason qualifiers are under way this week.
