New Men's Soccer Signees Establish Midfield, Back Line
The commitments include two outside backs and two central midfielders, representing three different countries.
BENTONVILLE - Midfielders Byron Adams and Tino Le and defender Brandon Lawson were announced Friday by head coach Dean Johnson as additions to the 2026 NWACC Men's Soccer roster.
The program's first ever class now bumps up to six members from four home countries. The three signees announced Friday also hold the distinction of being the first players in their respective positions to sign for the Eagles in program history.
ABOUT BYRON
A native of Colchester, England, Byron Adams is a box to box midfielder with versatility on both sides of the ball. He plies his trade with Maldon & Tiptree FC and broke into the first team in summer 2025, representing "The Jammers" in the eighth tier of English soccer.
"Byron is a technically gifted central midfielder," Johnson said. "He moves very well and has great physical attributes, so we are looking forward to him helping us to dictate play in the middle of the field."
ABOUT BRANDON
Brandon Lawson is an outside back who also has experience in the center of defense. The Bentonville High School senior becomes the first men's soccer signing local to Bentonville and builds upon the local epicenter of talent established by Pea Ridge native Damian Carranza.
"Brandon is another one of the best local players in NWA," Johnson said. "He posseses top level speed and great ability to defend 1v1 situations."
The 6'0", 160-pound Lawson possesses a combination of elite speed and size that make him a top local prospect.
"We are expecting Brandon to make an immediate impact with the group," Johnson said.
ABOUT TINO
Tino Le is a captain on the Ozark United U19 squad coached by Johnson. Born in Vietnam but raised locally in Northwest Arkansas, Le is a fluid, dynamic option for the Eagles.
"Tino can play multiple positions and is a threat in attack on the left side," Johnson said. "He has been the standout player in the Fort Smith area for a while now."
Le graduates from Southside High School this summer and was a member of the Outrigger Challenge Cup in summer 2025 with Ozark United. He represented Arkansas Comets at ECNL club level and was a trialist in St. Louis City FC's academy.
